Biotin Vitamin H Vitamin B7 Chemical properties
Biotin is a colorless to white crystal or crystalline powder. The melting point is 230-232°C. It is soluble in hot water and calcium solution, hardly soluble in water (1g/5L, 25ºC) and ethanol (1g/1.3L, 25ºC), and insoluble in other organic solvents. It is stable to oxygen and heat in the air.
